On city roads it delivers a mileage of 11.2kmpl and on the highways it delivers a mileage of 18.9kmpl. It has a tank range of 740km approximately.

The diesel engine of Toyota Corolla Altis is economical when it comes to fuel consumption but its performance is quite average due to the small motor and a power of 88bhp. This engine is perfect when going at a medium speed. It acceleration starts with 2000rpm and go up to a maximum of 3500rpm. The diesel engine has a 6 speed manual gearbox.
